What was printed
The test used Copymaster3D PLA Polar White, 1.75 mm, on a Bambu P1S with a 0.4 mm nozzle and Textured PEI plate. The job used AMS slot 2, 210°C nozzle temperature, a 60°C bed and 0.20 mm layers.
One plate held a block, bar, bridges, overhang fins, travel towers, a tray and a lid. These are different features from one print, not repeated tests of separate reels.
| Part | Model size (mm) | Measured size (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| Block | 20 × 20 × 10 | 20.08 × 20.04 × 10.00 |
| Bar | 40 × 10 × 4 | 40.03 × 9.97 × 4.01 |
| Tray opening | 35.20 × 25.20 | 35.06–35.08 × 25.11 |
| Lid insert | 34.60 × 24.60 | 34.65 × 24.65 |
The useful result was in the fit
The tray was slightly smaller inside than designed, while the insert was slightly larger. Even so, the lid had plenty of clearance. It was easy to remove, but too loose to call a close fit.
That is why the opening and insert are measured separately. Good-looking outside dimensions do not answer the assembly question on their own.
Where the print struggled
The 10 mm bridge remained square, with no obvious sag reported. Its opening measured 9.85 mm, the under-roof height 11.88 mm and roof thickness 2.20 mm.
The 20 and 30 mm bridges splayed and sagged, and the steeper fins printed poorly. We retained those results, then removed the demanding features from the routine plate design to reduce the risk of loose strands affecting other parts.
How far to take this result
The block and bar give an encouraging result for supported dimensions in this setup. They do not establish the behaviour of every colour, spool or printer. Instrument accuracy and the reel’s earlier storage history were not independently established.
There is no overall star rating for this setup print. Read the complete measurements and limitations for the detail, including the unreconciled bridge reading.
